Nationally acclaimed illusionist to present fundraiser magic show – News –

NEWBURGH — The Amazing Concert Illusionist Brian Ledbetter is set to perform “Dazzling Deceptions” live on stage at the Aquinas Hall Theatre at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, on March 3 at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.). The show is a fundraiser for the Newburgh Community Photo Project’s Summer Photography Workshop Series that benefits young adults from 16 to 24 years old. Tickets are only $10 for children under 18 years old, students, seniors, and members of the military; $15 for all others. They can be purchased from NCPP at 102 South William Street in Newburgh on Saturdays from noon-4 p.m., from select local businesses, or by visiting, or at the door on the day of the show if they aren’t already sold out.

Ledbetter’s show combines hilarious audience participation, side-splitting comedy, knuckle-busting sleight of hand, and visually spectacular stage illusions similar to what you may have seen on television or live on stage in Las Vegas. “I try to include something for everyone,” explains Ledbetter, “my aim is for kids to love the show, adults to love the show, and even for those skeptical teens to have a great time.”

Ledbetter refers to the large-scale touring illusion show as being a “vanishing part of Americana,” – claiming that most people have never actually seen a live magic show performed on stage. “Rarely can the entire family get together to enjoy quality live entertainment that’s affordable!”

Although born and raised in Washington State, Ledbetter’s performances can regularly be seen across the country. He enjoys touring his show, and as a result he has an impressive resume of fairs, festivals, casinos, corporate events, and theme parks under his belt.
