DPAC lines up virtual magic show; passes on sale now :: WRAL.com

The Durham Performing Arts Center is usually open for live performances, but with the COVID-19 pandemic shuttering stages around the world, it’s pivoting.

This month, DPAC will offer an interactive experience for at-home audiences. Piff the Magic Dragon: Live from Las Vegas will bring the magic to your home, according to the description, with a hilarious, interactive magic show to entertain the entire family.” This is an all-ages show that’s best for those 10 and up.

Shows, which will take place via Zoom, are scheduled for 7 p.m., July 25 and July 30 and 9 p.m., July 30.

    Here’s more from the description:

Hot off his record-breaking Vegas residency, Piff presents a completely new show created for online viewing, featuring never-before-seen magic, with tricks happening in your hands and homes.

Experience the star of America’s Got Talent and Las Vegas’ ‘Best Headliner,’ ‘Best Comedian,’ and ‘Best Magician’ award winner in your very own living room. And you don’t even have to put on pants. Though we’d prefer if you did.

Piff the Magic Dragon: Live from Las Vegas is a one hour live performance coming directly from Piff’s personal studio in Las Vegas (formerly his single car garage), and takes his trademark magic to new heights.

Each pass, which costs $35, allows viewing on one device. More information is on DPAC’s website. The number of passes sold will be limited.
